We have the privilege of touring this hospital that is focused on improving the lives of the community they serve. I was so impressed with their staff and executive team. They are working to change the perception of behavioral health and we honored to be a part of this initiative.

Had the honor of meeting some of the team at Fairfax and tour the facility today You can tell right away that the staff truly cares about their guests in an extraordinary way. The facility is clean, organized and built around providing a safe, caring environment for each individual.

I was shy, but i met a whole ton of new people and there was a ton of group and many people to talk to. No one treated me with disrepect, they all supported me when i needed my space, but i did get a stern shout out burst from the vitals nurse since i wanted to talk to my doctor since my blood pressure was a bit low, 113/69. (This was during the middle of my stay) So i talked to my nurse who gave me my medication and she was supportive and said she can be like that maybe shes been having a hard time at work or has been very busy with the other impatiants and didnt want to to deal with another patiant so she blurted and got stern. I walked off and didnt get emotional or anything i walked off like i nomrally do. Lol.. The impatiants there were just wow! Amazing! My age, and some of them were elderly but i didnt mind that at all. Very well mannered facility but the strict phone rules though... idk... it seems to me if someone was having a health issues and they didnt have any one to contact from theyre rooms they could possibly faint or have really low blood pressure and no one would know and not have any contact if they didnt have any roomate or anyone around at that fact. So they would have to go to the front desk and get someone to get help. At the hospital they have those emergency pull cords and thats what i would like to see in the bedrooms for patiants who need emenergy's when no ones around to help them out. Btw, i was there for only a short couple days from the 30th, 2018 of May to June 6th, 2018, not very long.

Look unless your rich Fairfax IS the best around King County. I’ve been there several times and other place as well. Fairfax is so throughl that they know who’s serious and who’s not. If you want help and you want to do the work and actually do what they suggest then they can’t help you and they can’t waste time trying to get through when there are many in dire need and who are willing to do anything to get sane again. No matter how mundane or stupid. They can only save the lives of those who they can reach. I found them very helpful and accommodating.

Although I wasn't sure what happened at first they were very kind, helpful, and supportive and made me feel safe. I was scared and they helped me to open up it was a nice environment even though I wanted to go home and go back to work. I think I would have done better had I stayed and participated more.

I was sent here because I took some pills and ended up in a coma, when I woke after medical treatment I was ordered to be taken here, I would give this place five stars but the matter of the fact is that I wasn't trying to kill my self

I enjoyed the staff and the facility, food was better then other inpatient places. As far as actual personal attentiveness to patients on a 1 -1 basis it wasn't very therapeutic . I would like to say there was too much time to be stuck in self . Cars the rec Therpist, Jennifer and Sydney, Courtney as well as a few of the others were amazing ! I got more actual discharge tools from Harborview , but I didn't hate my experience I was there for 25 days.

I was an inpatient for 10 days in the Central Unit and the staff, my case worker, nurses and Dr. Ma were a class act.. 4 Aces in my book!!! They were very attentive, upbeat and gave me space to work through my stuff.. If I wanted to just sleep~I was allowed to and if I wanted to engage and participate that was cool too.. They kept the fridge loaded with milk, yogurt, Ice cream and more, as well as the cupboards were loaded with cereal and a vast assortment of snacks!Having PTSD/Manic Depression-Bipolar issues, I was a mess when I got there.. They helped me set appointments with a mental health provider in my city until my Doctor can refer me to Psycho-therapist in our system .. .. .. The only downside (if you want to call it that) was that you can't smoke there~~~~~~~~>
